Great location, close to the beach and within walking distance to town. the area is relaxed and not crowded. the free use of surfboards and bikes was a fantastic perk. the staff were friendly and welcoming.
The rooms were a bit disappointing, with some comforts removed and beds that were too small. the lounge area was also small and not very comfortable.

Nice room with basic kitchen needs. Provision of basics. Washing up liquid, salt and pepper.
The only wardrobe was damp and smelled awful. We were unable to hang up our clothes.

A really relaxed atmosphere with a good vibe.
The backpackers tended to be loud -- but we coped with that.

Our stay at Wake Up! was fantastic! The deluxe queen room was spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We loved the newly renovated decor and facilities. The private outdoor seating area attached to our room was a nice touch. The hostel's location right across from the beach made for a convenient and scenic 20-minute walk into town. The free shuttle service to the main town was also a great perk, although it would have been even better if it ran more frequently. The activities organized by the hostel, such as the free wine and cheese evening and sunrise tours to the lighthouse, were enjoyable and added to our overall experience. We appreciated the air conditioning in the rooms and the cleanliness of the communal bathrooms and kitchen. The small beach in front of the hostel was a great place to relax and meet fellow travelers. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like the limited cleaning of rooms during our stay and the absence of a TV in the deluxe rooms, we had a wonderful time at Wake Up! Byron Bay. I highly recommend this hostel for a memorable stay in Byron Bay.

2Bed Cottages nicely positioned & cosy looking...Beds were comfortable too... Nice size Tv - great to have Sat TV ...Just about everything we needed was there - even mozzie spray & repellant ....Staff very acomodating to our dissapointment with 'booked' room ( done on-line) & subsequent swap to a 2bed unit. (Otherwise we would have left)
* The sofa in the purple unit needs an upgrade. * Tv is mounted at wrong angle - tends to face towards the fridge rather than the lounge window. * You seem a tad too backpacker friendly when I think you could be re-positioning as a more 'cost effective' resort to the one next door. * Outside appearance of resort looks a bit 'tired'. * No wifi in rooms?

I've been backpacking in Byron Bay and I found a perfect place to stay - a cozy resort-style hostel located right across from the beautiful beach. the location is great, with the quiet Belongil Beach and the popular Treehouse Café just a short stroll away. the rooms are comfortable and clean, offering a relaxing atmosphere to unwind after a day of exploring. Plus, the friendly staff make you feel right at home. the hostel also offers free activities and events to meet fellow travelers. It's the ideal base for your Byron Bay adventure!
The WiFi in some rooms was not reliable, which can be a bit frustrating when trying to stay connected.

This hotel is ideally located just across the road from the crystal blue beach, allowing easy access to the stunning coastline. The lush tropical gardens surrounding the property create a tranquil atmosphere, and there is plenty of parking available for guests. One of the highlights is definitely the free use of bikes and surfboards, perfect for making the most of the beachfront location. Additionally, the rooms are well-appointed and the air conditioning ensures a comfortable stay. The private bathrooms are a luxury, especially those with a spa bathtub. It's also worth noting that breakfast is provided, which is a convenient and delicious way to start the day.
All was great, no improvements needed.
